Upcoming Performances – We Are Not Troubled Guests

I have a couple performances of my one man show WE ARE NOT TROUBLED GUESTS coming up in the next couple months. Here are some of the details

8/17 Thursday – Lake Forest, CA (Orange County)

I will be traveling to SoCal to complete my second of three Artist in Residency trips with Saddleback Church. I am completing 5 murals over three trips… and this will be #2 & #3. But on Thursday night I will be performing WANTG on their campus and it open to everyone.

Show starts at 8:15pm… and I’d come around 745 to say hi and get a good seat.

10/1   Sunday – West Lafayette, IN

I will be participating with the Starry Night Festival over the weekend in WL… selling goods and telling a couple stories on stage on Saturday. But on Sunday night I’ll be performing WANTG. Still waiting on final details so I’ll change this post when it gets close!

Addicted To Love Concert – 7/17, Vancouver WA

So stoked to bring Addicted To Love Show to my home!

Cameron Dezen Hammon will perform songs from her new cover album Words Don’t Bleed – a feminist re-interpretation of ten 80s pop songs originally performed by male artists. She will also be sharing the stories of how those music videos from the 80’s informed her constructs of love and life.

Throughout the show, I will be providing a visual element through curated videos, some live drawings, and taking the mic a few beats to talk about the rise of the music video and what it did to us as a culture.

It’s a super fun night and you won’t want to miss it.

$5 suggested donation at the door.

2017 Artist In Residency – Saddleback Church

I’ll be an Artist in Residence at Saddleback Church this year. Along with teaching and supporting the artist community there, I will also be designing and completing 5 murals based on this years 500th anniversary of the Reformation. Each mural will depict a core belief that has influenced the Protestant tradition.

Last week I spent four days with the artist community and it was all the rads. So stoked how our first painting turned out!

Hope Heals Fundraiser

I’m excited announce a partnership with HOPE HEALS! Katherine and Jay Wolf have an intense story of love and tragedy and you should go check out what they are doing. I love what they are doing so much. So it was a great honor to be contacted by them and asked if I could create a series of art prints to be used to raise money for their Hope Heals Camp. HHC is a camp where kids with disabilities and their families can get away together for fun, connection, and restoration. The theme of the camp is that everyone has a place at the table.

I used this as my prompt for these three images. There are only 100 of each print and they are numbered and sign by moi.

Please please please consider making a donation to this great cause by purchasing a kick ass piece of art.

It really sounds like a no brainer.

thx!  Scott
