Yo… this is a design I made for my favorite home town team – the seattle seahawks – and I shared it with my peeps on Instagram and many of you wanted to get it. so here they are!
Many of you asked for prints of these images I created in Houston a few weeks ago. So… here they are!
These images were painted live alongside Pastor Gideon Tsang as he preached at Ecclesia Houston on 07/02/16. He preached on Jesus washing the disciples feet and how we enter into this pattern of belovedness.
Honestly. I went to this horrible church service recently. It was awful. It was awful because it was churchy for church sake. Layers and layers upon activities and statements that didn’t sound like they had anything to with life outside of this building. They only made sense in this particular practice. And my biggest beef is that the word worship has been taken and defined to mean a very particular activity. So I decided to and my two cents in this video…..
And as always…. I made some art about it.
You should get one of these. : )
So pumped to be coming back to Austin! I’ll be doing a few things throughout the weekend.. so come around and lets high five.
11AM– I will be painting at the Sunday liturgy of Vox Veniae.
7PM – WE ARE NOT TROUBLED GUESTS
I will be performing WANTG at the Byron & Blue space located in east Austin… right next to Brew & Brew. The performance will begin at 7pm and end roughly around 830. It’s a suggested $5-$10 donation at the door… and I’ll be bringing some original artwork that you can pick up from me after the show.
Then we are inviting anyone (who would like to stick around and chat) next door to Brew & Brew to have a conversation about doubt, faith, and where we find ourselves in this journey we are one. I’m excited to be doing this with my friend Aaron Hale of the Sons and Doubters podcast.
It’s going to be a killer night!
I’ll be the presenter at Round Rock’s Theology Live series on this night. You can’t go wrong! Not only will there be beer… but I’m planning on bringing some good stuff this night. Hope to see you out.
6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
